New Delhi, March 25, 2025 – The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is gearing up to announce the Navodaya Vidyalaya Result 2025 for Class 6 and Class 9 students. For Class 6, the Phase 1 result (Summer Bound) is expected in the last week of March 2025, while the Phase 2 result (Winter Bound) will roll out in May 2025. The Class 9 result is also set for March 2025. Around 20 lakh students took the Class 6 test, and 15 lakh sat for Class 9 this year. Here’s what you need to know!
How to Check Results
Students and parents can find the JNVST Class 6 result 2025 and Class 9 result on the official websites – navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.nic.in. You’ll need your roll number and date of birth from your JNV admit card to log in. Over 663 Navodaya schools across India use this test to pick students, and passing it is a big deal for kids, especially from rural areas. Cut-Off Marks to Pass
To get into a Navodaya school, you need to hit the cut-off marks. For Class 6, General category students should aim for 80-85 marks, OBC for 75-79, SC for 71-74, and ST for 65-70. For Class 9, it’s 83-88 for General, 70-82 for OBC, above 75 for EWS, and above 65 for SC/ST. Each school has 80 seats, with most saved for rural kids and some for girls and urban students.
Next Steps After Results
Once the JNVST result 2025 is out, selected students get admission letters with dates to report and a list of papers to bring. You’ll need stuff like your birth certificate, residence proof, school records, and photos. The school will check these, and if all’s good, you’re in!
